Water infused with Fruits, Herbs and Vegetables

Infused water

In my quest for healthier and tastier drink options, I have started infusing water. It is incredibly easy!

My first two recipes are Cool-Cumber and Dapple-Apple!

Cool-Cumber

One seedless organic cucumber sliced thin.

Peeled and sliced ginger 28 grams.

Three sliced strawberries

Ice and 2 quarts of water.

Simply add all of the fruit, put a cup of ice on top and then fill a 2 quart glass pitcher with filtered water.

Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours. Strain the fruit and pour in glasses with fresh fruit... so beautiful!!!

Dapple Apple (pineapple)

1/2 Pineapple sliced think without skin

Ginger sliced 26 grams

5 Sprigs of peppermint (approximately 7" long)

Ice and 2 quarts of water.

Simply add all of the fruit, put a cup of ice on top and then fill a 2 quart glass pitcher with filtered water.

Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours. Strain the fruit and pour in glasses with fresh sprigs of peppermint. Peppermint grows so easily! Start your own in your garden and you will have a fresh supply.

The water keeps for 2 days in the refrigerator, if it lasts that long!
